Project Slayers 2 officially lists seven default PC controls: M1 Attack, M2 Heavy Attack, M Menu, Q Dash, Ctrl Wall Climb, Left Shift Sprint, and Left Alt Mouse Lock. Use this page as a keybind lookup and setup order. Check the current in-game menu before a difficult fight because a live update can change a default after the public description was written.
Complete default keybind list
M1 and M2 are mouse-button labels, not keyboard letters. They also become L and R in the official combo notation. Use the Combo Inputs guide after both attacks work independently.
Setup order for a new session
First, close chat and any text field, then click the play area. Press M to verify keyboard focus. Toggle Left Alt mouse lock and move in a small circle so you understand how the camera and character face. Test normal movement, sprint, and four dash directions before approaching an enemy.
Next, stand in a safe position and use one M1. Wait for neutral, then use one M2. The actions should look different. If one click does not register, resolve focus, mouse software, or a current keybind change before practicing combos. A five-input sequence cannot be diagnosed reliably when one of its two base buttons is failing.
Finally, test Ctrl at more than one plausible surface. The action name confirms wall climbing exists; it does not promise that a flat wall, tree, prop, or boundary surface accepts it. Keep traversal and key registration as separate questions.
Mouse lock and camera control
Mouse lock can be valuable because attacks and dashes often depend on facing. Toggle it on in an open area, rotate the camera, then move forward, sideways, and backward. Toggle it off and repeat. Choose the mode that lets you keep threats visible without fighting the camera.
If Q sends you in an unexpected direction, recreate the same starting position. Keep one movement key held, press Q once, and compare the result with mouse lock off and on. The first-party description does not define whether dash follows character facing, movement input, camera direction, or a target, so the live result should guide your habit.
Do not confuse mouse lock with a confirmed target-lock system. The public text names Mouse Lock only. A target-selection button, cycling rule, or lock-on indicator needs current in-game evidence.
Sprint and wall climb
Press Left Shift while moving along a clear route. Watch for a visible speed change and any live resource indicator, but do not import stamina rules from another game. Release the key and confirm you return to ordinary movement. If Sticky Keys or another operating-system feature appears, adjust the system prompt carefully without disabling accessibility features you rely on.
For wall climb, face the surface closely and press Ctrl. Try an obviously different wall if the first rejects the action. Observe whether the character begins climbing, attaches briefly, or does nothing. The current experience may restrict surfaces, approach angles, states, or resources; none of those rules are published in the Universe description.
Attack inputs without guesswork
M1 is the published normal Attack and M2 is Heavy Attack. Use each once from the same range. A heavier-looking animation does not prove higher damage against every target, armor interaction, guard break, or safe opening. Those are combat findings, not keybind facts.
When you move from single attacks to a sequence, keep your hand relaxed and click deliberately. Start with LR, then LRL, before entering LRLRL. Repeat the same method for the special strings. If a prefix works and the next input fails consistently, note the current target, movement state, and whether the character had returned to an input-ready state.
Diagnose common conflicts
Chat captures keys
Press Escape or close the text field, click the world, and test M again. Do not judge combat input while a text cursor is active.
Browser or system shortcut
Use the Roblox client in focus and check whether Left Alt, Ctrl, or Shift triggers another application or accessibility prompt.
Mouse software macro
Return M1 and M2 to ordinary clicks for the baseline. A macro can change click order or delay without the game being at fault.

Follow the current in-game control label, record the build date, and treat this published list as the earlier first-party default.
Device boundaries
This fixed source confirms keyboard and mouse labels only. It does not document touchscreen button positions, gamepad support, Xbox or PlayStation glyphs, console availability, rebinding, input presets, or external controller translation. A control map from another Slayers-branded Roblox experience is not a safe substitute.
On another device, use the live interface. Match actions by name—Attack, Heavy Attack, Menu, Dash, Wall Climb, Sprint, and Mouse Lock—rather than assuming a particular face button. If the action name is absent, avoid inventing a mapping from PC.
Quick verification checklist
Before leaving the setup area, verify that M opens the menu, Left Alt changes mouse-lock state, Left Shift changes movement, Q produces an intentional dash, Ctrl is at least tested on a valid-looking surface, and M1/M2 work independently. Once those pass, move to Combo Inputs and Combat Basics.
If the fixed experience cannot be accessed, keep this as preparation rather than claiming the current client was tested. The Updates page records the public availability state and the Official Links page keeps the correct identifiers together.
