Project Slayers 2’s first-party Universe description publishes a complete compact PC input list: M1 for Attack, M2 for Heavy Attack, M for Menu, Q for Dash, Ctrl for Wall Climb, Left Shift for Sprint, and Left Alt for Mouse Lock. It also publishes an air-combo input and two special-combo strings. This controls hub turns those labels into a practical setup and troubleshooting reference without inventing controller buttons, mobile gestures, timing windows, or remap support.
Official PC control index
Open the Controls Guide when you want one action at a time. Open Combo Inputs when you already know M1 and M2 and need the published sequences.
Read combo notation correctly
The description uses L for the left-click attack and R for the right-click heavy attack. LRLRL therefore means left, right, left, right, left in order; it is not a word to type. The same line lists Space as an alternative air-combo input. Test LRLRL and Space as separate methods so you can tell which one produced the action.
The two published special strings are RRLRL and LLRLR. A repeated letter means repeat that mouse button. Enter each sequence from a neutral state and avoid holding a button unless the live game explicitly asks for a hold. The first-party text names the sequences but does not state the input buffer, permitted speed, target requirement, recovery, damage, or resource cost.
Set up keyboard and mouse before combat
Click inside the Roblox window and close chat or any text field. Toggle mouse lock once, then move the camera and character to learn how facing changes. Test menu, sprint, dash, and wall climb individually before using attacks. A missed key is easier to diagnose when no other action is playing.
For attacks, use one M1 and allow the character to return to neutral. Repeat with M2 from the same position. If both register, try only the first two inputs of a combo. Extend the string one input at a time. This method reveals the first point where focus, timing, target state, or another action interrupts the sequence.
If Left Alt conflicts with an operating-system shortcut or accessibility tool, do not remap blindly. First check whether the live Roblox settings expose a supported control change. The public description confirms the default, not a remapping interface or configuration-file method.
Mouse lock, facing, and dash direction
Mouse lock can make it easier to keep your character oriented while moving the camera, but it may also change the direction you expect from a dash or wall approach. Test four dashes from the same location with mouse lock off, then repeat with it on. Watch the character, camera, and final position rather than judging only the animation.
When an attack misses, separate facing from range. Stand still, place the target in view, and use one input. If that works, add movement. If it fails only during a side dash or camera turn, the problem may be orientation or target movement rather than a broken attack key.
The first-party description does not publish lock-on behavior, invulnerability, dash cooldown, stamina, or target switching. Those fields belong to a dated live-build observation, not the default-control list.
Sprint and wall-climb checks
Compare ordinary movement with Left Shift sprint on a clear route. Note whether the current UI shows a resource, speed state, or restriction, but do not infer one from another Roblox game. Sprint can interact with chat focus, sticky keys, or a keyboard layout; confirm that the Roblox window owns the input.
For wall climb, choose a surface that visibly looks usable and approach it squarely. Press Ctrl once and observe the result. If nothing happens, try a different surface and direction before concluding the key changed. “Wall Climb” does not mean every wall supports traversal or that the action is unlimited.
Input troubleshooting by symptom
M1 or M2 does nothing
Close chat, click the play area, test another Roblox menu, and retry one input. Confirm that mouse software is not intercepting the button.
The menu does not open
Make sure a text field is not focused, compare the current in-game control display, and test M without other modifier keys.
Dash goes the wrong way
Repeat from the same spot with mouse lock off and on. Watch facing and movement input at the moment Q is pressed.
A sequence drops one click
Slow down, reset to neutral, test the prefix, and avoid combining a movement or menu input until the mouse sequence is stable.
What is not documented
The fixed Universe description does not publish mobile touch locations, controller mappings, console support, rebinding, hold-versus-toggle settings, input buffer, animation cancel rules, dash immunity, block or parry buttons, breathing-skill inputs, item hotkeys, or accessibility options. A screenshot from another Slayers-branded experience cannot fill those gaps.
If the live game shows additional actions, use their exact displayed names and record the date and Place ID. If the live map disagrees with the public description, follow the current client for play and treat the description as an older first-party record until Roblox updates it.
Build a reliable control baseline
A reliable baseline means you can intentionally open the menu, toggle mouse lock, sprint, dash in each direction, attempt wall climb, distinguish normal and heavy attacks, and enter the first few clicks of each combo without focus loss. It does not require mastering damage routes or undocumented systems.
After that baseline, use the Combat hub to combine movement and attacks. Return to the Beginner Guide if the experience itself is unavailable or you need to confirm identity before troubleshooting.
Frequently asked questions
What does L mean in the combos?
L means M1, normally the left mouse button and published Attack input. R means M2, normally the right mouse button and published Heavy Attack input.
Is Space a jump or an air-combo shortcut?
The first-party combo line says LRLRL or SPACE – Air Combo. It does not explain all normal Space behavior. Test Space by itself in the current client and follow the live UI if it differs.
Are controller and mobile controls the same?
No verified fixed-Universe source reviewed here publishes those mappings. Use the current device interface rather than converting PC keys into guessed buttons.
Can I change keybinds?
Remapping support is not established by the public description. Check the current Roblox and experience settings before using external tools.
